AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) For over 60 years, AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) has been recognized around the world for the development of standards that provide third-party validation of product performance and quality. At AAMA, the continuing objective is to develop the highest level of technical expertise and to support member companies with business services, marketing research and marketing programs that make practical contributions to our members’ success and profitability. Every year, AAMA proactively and effectively influence codes, construction and specific issues. On both a regional and national basis, AAMA continuously monitors and reports legislative activities to keep you up-to-date on important developments.


ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) ASTM is a non-for-profit organization that provides a forum for the development and publication of voluntary consensus standards for materials, products, systems, and services. In over 130 varied industry areas, ASTM standards serve as a basis for manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory activities. ASTM international provides standards that are accepted in research and development, product testing and quality systems.


NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) The NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) establishes test criteria that set the standards for performance ratings for manufacturers of window and door products. The NRFC is a non profit, public/private organization created by the window, door, and skylight industry. It is comprised of manufacturers, suppliers, builders, architects and designers, specifiers, code officials, utilities and government agencies. NRFC provides consistent ratings on window, door and skylight products. The primary goal of the NRFC is to provide accurate information on the energy performance of these products.


Underwriters Laboratory As a consumer , you see UL listed products such as hair dryers, coffee pots and power tools everyday. These same safety considerations also apply to manufacturers of building materials. We voluntarily submit to UL bi-yearly testing and quarterly inspections to assure that Preservation windows are UL Classified to ASTM E84.


Energy Star Program – Window Products Energy Star is a voluntary partnership between US Department of Energy (DOE), the US environmental protection Agency (EPA) and the fenestration industry. It is designed to assist consumers in the recognition of energy efficient products – and promote the environmental and economic benefits of these products through the ENERGY STAR label and other activities. Each and every Preservation window manufactured with the ClimaTech Insulating Glass Package qualifies as ENERGY STAR compliant in all three U.S. Climate Zones.
