AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) is a national trade association providing third-party validation of product performance and product quality via testing laboratories.

ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) ASTM is a non-profit organization that provides voluntary consensus standards for materials, products, systems, and services which test air infiltration, water-resistance, and structural loads.

NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) establishes test criteria that sets the standards for performance ratings for manufacturers of window and door products; NFRC is responsible for Solar Heat Gain Coefficient and u-Factor ratings.

U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the fenestration industry. It is designed to assist consumers in the recognition of energy efficient products.
